Unicam offers a complex and a long-term verified solution for traffic violation monitoring and criminal precaution

The Unicam camera system has a lot of positive contributions. Firstly thanks to red light jumping and speed violations detection safer roads can be accomplished. Fewer violations mean a serious traffic accident decrease.

Another positive outcome is crime prevention and increase in public safety. Thanks to automatic license plate reading Unicam offers searching for stolen vehicles, traffic near objects monitoring, vehicles of interest detection, etc.

To demonstrate the impact of Unicam camera systems we show a diagram of section control. In all the places where Unicam is installed a distinct decrease of over the limit traveling vehicles was observed:
 
 
The diagram shows the speed violation decrease in Zlín, tř. T. Bati in the first three months since the installation - A 55% DECREASE during  this period. The system had no distinct impact on vehicles traveling within the speed limit. Furthermore no serious traffic accident occurred.
 
 
The diagram shows a decrease in the number of vehicles traveling over the speed limit in Ústí nad Labem, Masarykova Street, towards Všebořice, in the term of more than half a year since the system installation. The diagram shows a number of vehicles violating the  speed limit by more than 10 km/h -  A 50% DECREASE in the time period .
 
 
The diagram shows the decrease of the number of vehicles speeding in Prague, tunnel Strahov, towards Mrázovka, in the term January – November 2005. The diagram shows a number of vehicles breaking the speed limit by more than 20 km/h -  A 70% DECREASE in the time period .
